April 30: “The Family in the Feud”
After a corpse is found in the middle of the woods, the Jeffersonian team links the victim to two families that have been feuding for almost a century. Brennan and Booth discover that the victim only had weeks to live before he was brutally murdered, and a family member with a shocking confession brings them closer to finding a motive. Meanwhile, Brennan has difficulty accepting her father Max’s (guest star Ryan O’Neal) offer to babysit Christine.
May 7: “The Suit on the Set”
Brennan and Booth head out to Los Angeles to oversee the production of “Bone of Contention,” a film based on Brennan’s latest book and the work of the Jeffersonian team. While on set, Brennan intervenes after finding flaws with the actors’ performances, not to mention the film’s total disregard for science. Then she discovers that the prop cadaver being used is an actual murder victim, forcing her and Booth to launch an investigation that has real-world consequences in the land of make-believe. Meanwhile, Booth is offered a job on the studio lot, and embarrassing information is revealed about Cam’s past.
May 14: “The Past in the Present” (Season Finale)
Evil tech genius Christopher Pelant (guest star Andrew Leeds), a suspect in a previous case Brennan and Booth handled, is back in court on appeal. Knowing what he is capable of, Brennan and Booth inform the judge that he is a suspect in two murder cases. Then, Brennan and Booth are called to the scene of a new murder. After determining the victim is Brennan’s friend, who also is linked to Pelant, the Jeffersonian team works to prove he is guilty once and for all. But when law enforcement examines the team’s findings, key pieces of evidence are tied to Brennan and suspicion falls on her.

Ask Ausiello has posted a new Bones spoiler … will Booth and Brennan tie the knot? Be spoiled at your own risk! If you want to remain spoiler free, do not read below!
Question: Will we get a wedding between Booth and Brennan on Bones in the near future?
Ausiello: Brennan will have to soften her anti-marriage stance before there’s any question-popping, let alone knot-tying. For her part, Emily Deschanel says her alter ego is slowly coming around. “She’s always been against marriage – at least for herself – and has seen no need for it,” the actress points out. “But maybe after having a child it will become more important to her. You saw her wanting him to ask her, but him putting it back in her court. It seems she may consider it now.” And for the record, Deschanel “absolutely” believes Brennan is capable of doing the proposing herself. “Brennan would be fine asking a man if she felt that was a rational thing to do.”

Seven sexy stars of primetime TV — Emily Deschanel (“Bones”), Archie Punjabi (“The Good Wife”), Grace Park (“Hawaii Five-O”), Kerry Washington (“Scandal”), Kat Dennings (“2 Broke Girls”), Emmy Rossum (“Shameless”) and Emily VanCamp (“Revenge”) — got together for a spread in Vanity Fair’s May 2012 issue.
The lingerie-clad ladies look fantastic, especially new mom Deschanel who she welcomed her son Henry last September and Rossum. CBS is well-represented, with Punjabi, Park and Dennings.
With all the emphasis on movie stars, it’s great to see these TV actresses get the spotlight. Vanity Fair’s TV issue, or pick it up on your local newsstands.
Bones returns for the rest of its seventh season on Monday night. And while star Emily Deschanel and her alter ego Temperance Brennan were pregnant during the first half of the season, the only episode taped after the September birth of Deschanel’s son Henry was the fictional baby’s arrival.
Accustomed to playing pregnant while actually pregnant, Monday’s episode required Deschanel to put on a fake belly for the first time.
“It’s very sweaty in there, so thank god it was just for one episode and we could move on,” Deschanel tells The Hollywood Reporter. “I had to try on a bunch of bellies that were marked for different celebrities when they were pregnant in different movies. I know I tried on Nicole Kidman’s, but I can’t remember who we ended up with.”
Going through both pregnancies simultaneously, Deschanel also notes that the upcoming batch of episodes with Brennan and Booth (David Boreanaz) as new parents have mirrored what’s happening at home.
“I’ll experience something in an episode, and I’m shocked because it’s exactly what I’m going through,” she says of storylines involving hormones, weight loss and sleep deprivation. “Brennan has a different take on things always. It’s been fun to see how that unfolds.”
And for fans who may still be feeling cheated by the series decision to make the Brennan and Booth leap from platonic partners to parents, Deschanel promises that more romantic payoff is ahead.
“Let’s just say that we’re dealing with things that are not so sexy and romantic like spit-up, burping and waking up on the middle of the night,” she says, “but there are also some make-out sessions thrown in there. And some lingerie.”
“I never thought I’d be doing this long enough that I’d be having a child while all of this was happening,” she says, “or that they’d write that in.”
