“Bones” Unveils Season 6 Poster

“Bones” is coming up on the sixth season of the show that stars Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz. The new series doesn’t premiere until September 23, but Fox has just released the official poster that features Boreanaz wearing some snazzy striped socks. Marked with the tagline “Chemistry keeps them together,” it looks like the two are still going strong this season.

Ask Ausiello posted some “Bones” spoilers fans can look forward to this upcoming season.

Question: We already know that Booth met someone during Bones‘ time jump. But what about Brennan? She didn’t actually go an entire year without romance, did she? —Missy
Ausiello: No, she didn’t. She went seven months without getting any. That’s technically how much time will have passed when the season starts up. In related news, Brennan is in what exec producer Stephen Nathan calls a “surprising situation” when we meet up with her on that archaeological dig in Indonesia.

Question: I love your Bones scoops. Could I pretty please have another one? —Chandler
Ausiello: All this talk about a Bones character getting killed off may be much ado about bubkes. “Whether or not we’re going to have an actual fatality is still under discussion,” maintains Nathan. “And if it happens, it would be later in the season.”

Booth to Try to Make Brennan Jealous on “Bones”

Bones star David Boreanaz has suggested that his character Booth will try to make Brennan chase him in the new season. Last month, it emerged that Katheryn Winnick has joined the show as a new love interest for Booth. Boreanaz has now told Give Me My Remote that his character may use the relationship to make Brennan (Emily Deschanel) jealous.

“[With] his interactions with Bones, he’s going to be like, ‘Hey, look how great my life is, I’m going to try and make you jealous, look who I have’,” he said. “[He's going to] try and turn the tables around a little bit, cause that conflict… You want her to chase me this season a little bit.”

Boreanaz added that the relationship with Winnick’s character Hannah isn’t too serious, explaining: “We shot that scene [where Hannah arrives] and it’s like, ‘There you are, there it is’, that whole awkwardness. But yet, ‘Hey, I’m going to try to make [Brennan] a little jealous here. It’s tit for tat there. You’ve got to be able to look at it for what it’s worth and see how both relationships work with each other.”

Boreanaz also revealed that he is enjoying the storyline, saying: “I love the interaction between me and Winnick so far. It’s fun to see how [Brennan] reacts to it.”

“Bones” Finds Their New ‘Situation’

Earlier this month, David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel said they were wooing The Situation from “Jersey Shore” to come as a guest star on “Bones.” Not long after, executive producer Stephen Nathan confirmed to EW that the deal was off. However, a better news just arrived in the form of Antonio Sabato Jr.

TV Guide said the hunky actor has just been cast as a guido bouncer at a Jersey Shore club that Deschanel’s Brennan and Boreanaz’s Booth will visit during their investigation for a murder. Consequently, the detectives will be an outcast in the party scene which reportedly will also present a remix of “Bones” theme song.

It was understood from previous reports that the victim is a fitness guru named Ritchie “The V” Genaro. “General Hospital” star Lisa LoCicero is also hired to play Janine Genaro, the mother of the deceased.

The “Jersey”-themed episode is titled “The Maggots in the Meathead” and will air as the third in the upcoming season which premieres September 23 on FOX. “But the episode will still be our little tribute to ‘Jersey Shore’ and it will do what many people in America would like to see themselves-which is one of those people dead,” Nathan joked after confirming an actor would play The Situation. The Situation Will Not Appear on “Bones”

Here’s the sitch: Jersey Shore‘s superstar guido will not be appearing on Bones after all. According to exec producer Stephen Nathan, plans to have Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino guest-star as a murder victim in a Shore-inspired episode have been scuttled.

“The Situation is not going to work out,” Nathan tells me. “There were so many contractual difficulties with MTV that it just became an impossibility.”

As a result, an actual actor will more than likely fill the minor role. “But the episode will still be our little tribute to Jersey Shore,” Nathan assures me, “and it will do what many people in America would like to see themselves—which is one of those people dead.”

He’s kidding about that last part. I know because this is the sound he made after he said it: “Muhahahahahahaha.” (Source)

To make David as miserable as he made her when he was playing Mr. Fancy Pants Director. Yes, Emily is directing her very first Bones episode this fall. FOX Stars Dish on American Idol Rumors

“Extra” caught up with the stars of FOX TV at the Television Critics Association after-party to talk about the rumor that Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler are joining “American Idol” as judges.

“Bones” star Emily Deschanel thinks Jennifer Lopez “would be amazing,” but admitted she liked the old panel of judges, too. “They had something going that worked,” she said.

“Bones” to Spoof “Jersey Shore”

The Jersey Shore bandwagon is getting crowded. When Bones creator Hart Hanson jumps on it, you know the MTV reality show has left its mark on popular culture in a big way. Hanson confirmed a recent report that he has approached Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino to guest star in an upcoming episode.

“We’re trying to get The Situation to play a murder victim,” Hanson revealed to EW. “A guido is killed and Booth and Brennan enter that world to find out what happens. We’re not sure if it’ll actually happen or not. Talks are ongoing.”

Sources say The Situation would play fitness guru Ritchie “The V” Genero in the episode. The search is on for an actress to costar as Ritchie’s Victoria Gotti-esque mom.

“Bones actually understands them because she considers [guidos] to be a tribe,” explains star David Boreanaz. Adds Emily Deschanel: “Brennan anthropologically studies them and knows the lingo and the behavior. [She's] down with the whole guido stuff.” Laughs the actress: “I guarantee that there will be a fist pump.”

Deschanel, who admits jealousy over Booth’s new girlfriend this upcoming season, is at least in good spirits regarding this episode, currently slated for October. She predicts that the episode will be packed with Jersey Shore quotes and references. (Source)
