Emily was just at the 2010 FOX Upfront After Party with the rest of the “Bones” cast and her other FOX co-stars. From the looks of it, she cut her hair. Definitely different but the new look suits her, don’t you think? 1 HQ and 8 MQ 26 HQ, 5 LQ and 10 MQ were added from the event itself, plus 9 MQ from the portrait session with David.

On tomorrow night’s episode of Bones, The Gravedigger goes on trial. Apparently, it’s a huge development. But many viewers want to look ahead to the May 20 season finale – and, hey, who are we to disappoint them?

According to executive producer Hart Hanson, “The Beginning in the End” will be a major step in the evolution Booth and Bones’ relationship, one as significant as the controversial events from the 100th episode.

“The season finale is a good place and a natural place to change the direction of a series, and [in the] fifth season, you’ve got to do that,” Hanson told TV Guide.

Emily Deschanel, who plays Brennan adds, “Huge things happen in the episode, and that does change the course of everyone. But it’s funny how subtle things can change people.”

Fox isn’t giving too much away. In its description of “The Beginning in the End,” the network simply says: Brennan helps Booth make a difficult decision. (Source

Emily Deschanel has figured out what she’s going to do while her hit television show, “Bones,” is on hiatus for the summer. The actress, like so many of her small-screen peers, will attempt to transition to the big screen for an independent film project “The Perfect Family,” directed by Anne Renton.

Renton previously directed the comedic short “Love Is Love” with Jenni Baird (“The 4400″) and Jane Lynch (“Glee”). Deschanel, meanwhile, has enjoyed roles in “The Alamo” and “Spider-Man 2″ but has left the silver screen exploits to her younger sister, Zooey.

In the film, Deschanel will play a successful gay lawyer who could potentially embarrass her uptight, Catholic mother as she competes for an award to find the perfect family. According to Variety, Kathleen Turner has been cast as Deschanel’s mom, while Jason Ritter will play Deschanel’s deadbeat brother. (Source)

Bones creator Hart Hanson has revealed that Booth and Brennan will be forced to make a big decision in the upcoming season finale. David Boreanaz, who plays Booth, explained that the duo will start to face a crossroads in future episodes.

“We have a much better ender than last year’s,” Boreanaz told TV Guide magazine. “We show how they are going in different directions and how that may affect them when they come back together at the start of season six.”

Emily Deschanel, who stars as Brennan, added: “There are huge obstacles in the way of their deep affection for each other.”

Deschanel also hinted that the pair may decide to change careers, while Hanson explained that Angela will think about moving to Paris. The news would mean that only Camille and Sweets remain at the Jeffersonian Institute.

The executive producers of Bones have revealed details of the Gravedigger’s upcoming trial. The Gravedigger kidnapped and buried Brennan (Emily Deschanel) in a previous episode of the show but executive producer Stephen Nathan refused to reveal whether the letter Brennan wrote while trapped would reappear.

“The Brennan letter… I don’t really want to say whether the Brennan letter comes up,” Nathan said. “Brennan’s experience in the car returns. Because we’re not finished with the Gravedigger, we’re not finished with that aspect of Brennan’s experience with the Gravedigger either.”

However, creator Hart Hanson joked: “I wouldn’t even have told you that.” (Source)
